Ponytail Project 2025

Ponytail Project 2025 QLD

We're rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!

This event is in collaboration with the UWA Student Guild and UWA Relay and will be held on Oak Lawn at the UWA Crawley campus.

We're taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support people impacted by cancer.

This is a fantastic charitable initiative in which you can volunteer to take part in the Ponytail Project, step up to cut 20cm or more of your hair for donation, as well as raise funds from friends and family for cancer research and support services for families affected by cancer.

After the big chop, the hair is collected and sent to Sustainable Salons where it will be turned into wigs for patients suffering from hair loss.

We hope you can take this opportunity to 'rock the chop, to put a stop to cancer' and feel the support of our UWA community.

Also be sure to check out the:

- BBQ for your sausage sizzle needs

- Raffle prizes (this could be your chance to win big!)
