I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project to honour my Mum xx
Last year, I lost my beautiful mum suddenly to cancer. She faced this cruel disease three times with incredible courage and grace. After enduring a double mastectomy and reconstruction, we all believed she was in the clear. But after suddenly falling ill, she passed away just 48 hours after being admitted to hospital. She was not only my mum, but also my best friend and my hero. I’m taking on “the chop” to honour her bravery, her light, and the love she shared with everyone around her. I would love to raise $1000 in honour of her memory and to support others who have experienced cancer.
