What is Ponytail Project and why am I participating?

I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support people impacted by cancer.

In participation of this event, I am cutting off 25cms of my hair, which will later be made into a wig for a woman with cancer.

All funds raised from this goes to Cancer Council Australia to be used for support services, prevention programs and research. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.
