Cranmer House is leading the charge on the Ponytail Project again!!
Cranmer are asking for brave students to nominate to raise funds by pledging to chop off their ponytail (20cm or more) or shave their hair. This is open to any student from any House – as long as you want to make a difference.
We will have our big loud lunch celebration on Thursday of Week 8 with an incredible set from our Rock School as well as ponytails being chopped and heads being shaved!
The Details:
- Sign up to the official Canterbury College 2026 Ponytail Project page here
- Ask your friends, family, and anyone who will listen to donate to your page!
- Raise at least $150 to have your hair chopped/shaved at our Rock the Chop and Shave the World Loud Lunch event.
- Open to all students from 5-12.
- If you are chopping your
ponytail, we ask for at least 20cm so that it can be donated and made into
wigs for people who have lost their hair through cancer treatment.
