Im Rocking the Chop on October 2nd 2026

As some people may remember, in 2018 I went bald for the Shave for a Cure and I learnt 3 things:

1. That your head does get surprisingly cold with no hair

2. Bad hair days exists no matter how much (or how little) hair you have

3. And that I am more than grateful to give up something as simple as my hair to contribute to making a positive impact in someone else's life.

So with those words of wisdom, my hair is even LONGER this time around, and I'm back again to Rock the Chop. I'm going for a cheeky bob this time (and I promise I will know how to style it better than when I was 15) and will be donating my ponytail and the funds to support Queenslanders impacted by cancer.

Any donations are greatly appreciated , no matter how small, because you too will be making a huge impact to someone's life, who needs it the most.

Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

Throughout the last few years, I have been growing my hair as long as possible, alongside others all across Queensland, before chopping off my ponytail and rocking a brand new hairdo. Every ponytail chopped will make a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer #chopforchange.

All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.
