I'm rocking the chop on 07/05/2024

I’m rocking the chop for my mum!

Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

I'm taking part in the ponytail project to support all the people going through cancer and those around them. My mum had breast cancer when I was younger, and it was a really tough time in both our lives. This has brought me so much more awareness, knowledge and compassion to those experiencing cancer, and for their friends and family. It has also inspired me to do my part to act for change and support.

I will be chopping approximately 15 cm of hair off alongside my fellow Stu seniors on May 9th - All donations are going towards Cancer Council research and hair under 20cm is going to the Great Barrier Reef oil slick project.
