I'm rocking the chop on 18/06/2025
Hello friends!!
Did you know that 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?
On the 18th of June I will be donating my ponytail to make wigs for those suffering medically induced hair loss. I’ll also be raising funds for Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer.
As many of you would know this is a cause close to my heart, having lost my mum to cancer in 2009. During her treatment she received a wig - so I have been growing my hair with the hopes it can create a wig for someone else in need.
All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.
