I'm rocking the chop on 13/06/2025
I’m rocking the chop in memory of my beautiful bestie
I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support people impacted by cancer.
I have been busy growing my hair as long as possible, before I chop off my ponytail and rocking a brand new hairdo. As of end of March I am close to 32 cm of hair for donation.
Every ponytail chopped will make a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer #chopforchange.
All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.

Hi Rachel. I think the Cancer Council foundation is an awesome organisation and you’re a good person with a heart of gold to be doing the Ponytail Project. I have donated $62 in memory of your bestie and my mum. She unfortunately passed away at the age of 62. When she went shopping for her wig and she felt beautiful coming home in it. Maybe I’ll see you at the Neverfail water cooler and we’ll have a chat about current events, thats what office people do, right?
