I'm ready to #rockthechop
It's a reality we can't escape: cancer touches the lives of so many people we hold dear.
It could be a mother, an uncle, or a grandparent.
For me, I have witnessed a countless number of people I know battle against cancer, including my own grandmother who battled stomach cancer with incredible strength.
Her courage is what’s inspired me to take part in the Ponytail Project Campaign, to help make the lives of those going through cancer just a little bit better.
I am fully committed to #rockingthechop, and losing my long hair, to show the strength that these cancer patients show. Ultimately, my goal is to raise funds that will make a difference for those impacted by cancer, and my hair will be transformed into real fringe hairbands, providing comfort and confidence to those who face hair loss due to their cancer treatments.
It is estimated that in 2023, over 50,000 Australians will pass away as a result of cancer, which is why I aim to fundraise $5000.
