I'm rocking the chop on 10/04/2024
I am ready to #rockthechop for all those in my life who have needed or still need real hair wigs!
For the last 6+ months I have been unintentionally growing my hair. Now the intention has changed: I realise how lucky I am when others who go through cancer treatment or who have alopecia are not. Seeing how hard it is to get wigs made out of real hair and the cost associated with getting them has spurred me on. I am ready to #rockthechop.
Up until my chop date in April, I’ll be growing my hair as long as possible, alongside peers all across Australia, before chopping off my ponytail and rocking a brand new hairdo. Every ponytail chopped will make a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer #chopforchange.
All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.
