We're rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!
Did you know that 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?
We're taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support people impacted by cancer.
Throughout the year, we will be growing my hair as long as possible, alongside peers all across Australia, before chopping off my ponytail and rocking a brand new hairdo. Every ponytail chopped will make a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer #chopforchange.
All funds raised will go towards essential cancer support services, prevention programs and lifesaving research. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.
We know that we can help create change.

WE DID IT!!!
Thankyou so much for everyone who has helped us along to this point. We have surpassed our goal by $2000 and we are so grateful. Our chop is tomorrow, however our fundraising page is open until December lets see how much more we can raise!!

THANKYOU!!!! From the bottom of our hearts thankyou for all who have donated and viewed our team page. As of writing, we are currently sitting around $11 500 and we could not be prouder of efforts and those of our community. Lets see how much bigger of an impact we can make. How amazing is it that we are so close to our goal of $10 000? None of this could have been achieved without help from our amazing friends, family and lions community. As we are so close to our goal i urge you to please consider spreading the word about our cause to local businesses and your connections, as all our efforts are for a bigger cause. Young families with children who are affected by cancer, individuals who cannot afford cancer treatments/wigs and funding for medical research are at the forefront of our efforts. It would be even better if we could reach beyond $10 000 to make our community contribution bigger than it has ever been before.

We are almost halfway to our fundraising target of $10 000!!! How cool. We cannot thank all of our families, friends and local community for supporting our students enough. It is because of your generous contribution that someone will have access to wig (made of past students hair), chemotherapy and living support. Let's band together and get closer to our fundraising target - we can definitely do this!

We genuinely appreciate anything you can do for this cause, and our brave students.
