We're rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!
At Whitsunday Anglican School, giving back isn’t just encouraged — it’s part of who we are.
This year, our students are embracing that spirit by taking part in the Ponytail Project, cutting their hair to raise awareness and funds for cancer support services across Australia.
We’re incredibly proud of our participants — Matilda, Tilly, Joannah, Chayvae, Senara, Arhamah, Sophie, Jade, Jamaica, Amreen, Emma, Darci, Aarna, Lydia, and Saskia — who are stepping up to make a difference.
And it’s not just students! A special shoutout to Alice from our Boarding Staff, who’s joining the chop and showing her support in style. Additionally Sophie is also donating ALL of her hair, buzzing over 50cm!
Together, they’re turning heads and turning compassion into action. Every ponytail snipped is a symbol of hope, strength, and solidarity.
