I'm rocking the chop on 28/06/2026

Our son Sean died of early onset bowel cancer. Too many of our friends and family have been impacted by cancer. We want to help support Cancer Council and all the amazing medical professionals to beat this evil disease.

Did you know that 1 in 2 Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

In 2008 Tony and I took part in Shave for a Cure.   At that time cancer barely touched our lives.   Sadly that changed.  Walking alongside our son as he faced his cancer journey was one of the most painful experiences of our lives.  Before he was diagnosed we had no idea that bowel cancer is the deadliest cancer for Australians aged 25-54.

We want to raise funds to help raise awareness about all forms of cancer and the importance of detecting cancer early.

All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.

We know  we can help create change.

Will you support us ?
