I’m rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!

Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

This year, I'm taking part in Cancer Council's Ponytail Project to raise funds and awareness for Queenslanders impacted by cancer. Instead of donating a ponytail, I'll be shaving my hair into a buzz cut to show my support and hopefully encourage others to get behind this incredible cause.

Every dollar donated helps Cancer Council continue its vital work, from funding cancer research to providing practical support for people and families facing end up facing the disease. That support includes services like transport to treatment, accommodation assistance, and education programs that help reduce cancer risk in our communities.

Cancer affects so many people and I am hoping to do my small part to make a difference.
