It is not a Mid-Life Crisis; it is for a good cause!

I have been growing my hair in support of my son, the longhaired legend, Will Harrison, and to raise money for the Cancer Council all at the same time.

I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to support my son Will and raise funds to support people impacted by cancer.

As some of you probably know, my son Will has always had long hair, it is part of who he is. With Will graduating Primary School this year the hair has to go in preparation for High School! This was going to be daunting for Will until he heard about the Ponytail Project. Will made the decision that if he had to cut off his hair he wanted it to be for a good cause!

So, to support him I have been growing my hair since January (for those that have been wondering, no it wasn’t a midlife Crisis, it is for a great cause!) and I will get it cut with him on the 23rd of November!

All funds raised will go towards essential cancer support services, prevention programs and lifesaving research. 

This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.

I know that I can help create change.
