I’m rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!

Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

I'm taking part in Cancer Council's Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer. Throughout the year, I'll be growing my hair as long as possible, alongside peers all across Queensland, before chopping off my ponytail for cancer patients who have lost their hair during treatment.

Cancer affected my life when three of my family members were diagnosed in recent years, including my mum in April 2024. Watching her persevere through treatment and lose her hair but win her battle has inspired me to give what I can for others facing the same challenges.

Will you support me?

All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.
