I'm rocking the chop on 17/10/2026

I’m rocking the chop so that everyone who is afected by cancer will feel more like themselves and hopefully one day every cancer patient will have 100% chance of getting better.

Did you know that there is a 70% chance of surviving cancer?

I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign so that every current cancer patient will become a cancer survivor. We have lost too many to this horrible disease, and it is time to put a stop to it!

Throughout the year, I am growing my hair as long as possible with friends at school, so I can chop off my ponytail and rock a brand-new hairdo. Every ponytail chopped will make a huge difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.

All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs, and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.

Starting The Challenge

Tuesday 19th May

I have officially started the ponytail project! Right now my ponytail is about 15-20cm long. My goal by the time to #RocktheChop is for it to be 25-30cm long! I hope I can make this cut (pun intended) so that whoever gets my hair has a nice long wig to make them feel confident.
