I’m rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!

Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer.

I've had many relatives impacted by cancer over the years and want to make a difference. To do my part I've joined the ponytail project where money is raised for wigs to be made for those battling cancer. If $500 is raised by the deadline I will shave my head. 

All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.

I know that I can help create change.
