Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer.

Hair will grow back, but the impact of cancer can last a lifetime. That's why I've decided to take part in the Ponytail Project and cut off my ponytail while raising funds for cancer research. The money raised will help support researchers working to find better treatments and improve the lives of people affected by cancer. If you're able to donate, I'd be incredibly grateful. Together, we can make a real difference.

All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun.
