I’m rocking the chop to honour those who lives have been affected by cancer and recognise the bravery and courage upheld throughout.

Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

Im taking part in the Cancer Council Ponytail Project Campaign raising funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer.

Alongside my peers, I'll be growing my hair as long as possible, before chopping my ponytail to support lives affected by cancer.

Ive chosen to be apart of this movement to help women feel that little boost of sense of self while their fighting through the worst times of their lives. It's important that they can feel confident, spirited and determined to perceiver.

My group and I are aiming to raise $4000 towards the Cancer Council, which will help strengthen programs, support services, transport, medical appointments and childcare facilities.
