I'm rocking the chop on 20/01/2025

I’m rocking the chop to raise awarness for cancer!

I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer. 

Cancer has touched nearly everyones life in someway, whether its a family member, workdmate, teacher, or that one stranger you randomly met. But these relationships are the reason i am chopping off my hair. when i first created this team and started this project i didnt have a very good why, i didnt have a close family member which had passed from cancer (although i have a rockstar auntie which is a breatcancer survivor and inspires me in so many ways) but as i got people to sign up and read their heart renching stories i discovered my own why. 
I want to create a team where we can share their stories and give people a chance to help families like their own through the trauma cancer creates. I want people to have the chance to come together and celebrate the lives they have lost to cancer and most of all say a big F*ck YOU to the disease which takes so many lives within our community. So i am passionate about this cause and i will support anyone who wants to chop their hair or raise awarness because it affects hundreds of lives daily. 

Lets come together and change lives one chop at a time!

I am so excited to share this experience with so many girls by raising awareness for this horrible disease. We have raised a great deal of money and it’s all because cancer affects so many of us personally within our community.
