I’m rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!

Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?

Cancer affects so many lives. I have known people who have faced this battle, and I've seen the strength it takes to continue the fight, the challenges they face, and the impact it has not only on them, but on the people around them too. This is something no one should have to go through alone.

This year, I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer. 

Throughout the year, I’ll be growing my hair as long as possible, before rocking the chop on the 31st of July. All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services. This means everything from transport to get cancer patients to and from their medical appointments, to assisting childcare facilities to keep kids safe from the sun. 

Every donation and every ponytail chopped makes a difference. #chopforchange.
