I'm rocking the chop on 14/10/2026

Harlow has spent two years growing her hair to help make wigs for kids with cancer. Now, with her Pa battling stage 4 cancer, her Chop means even more. At just 8, she wants to show that kids can make a big difference too.

Why I’m Rocking the Chop

Two years ago, I sat in assembly and watched other students Rock the Chop. I remember thinking, I want that to be me one day! Ever since then, I have made Mum not cut my hair so I could grow it and grow it, ready to donate as much as possible to help make an incredible wig for a child with cancer.

This year, it means even more to me because my Pa is battling stage 4 cancer. I know I can’t make cancer go away, but I can do something to help. I’ll be chopping off 35cm of my hair and raising money to help people and families affected by cancer.

All the money I raise will help fund cancer research, prevention programs and support services.
