Shaving 6 inches of your hair for cancer is such a massive thing, and it honestly says so much about the kind of person you are. A lot of people talk about wanting to help others, but not everyone is actually willing to sacrifice something personal to make a real difference — and you are. Hair means a lot to people. It’s part of confidence, identity, and how people see themselves, so choosing to cut off that much to support people going through cancer treatment is seriously brave and selfless. There are people out there battling things every single day that most of us couldn’t even imagine, and what you’re doing is going to help remind them that people care about them and are standing beside them. I know you might be nervous or emotional about it, and honestly that’s completely fair, but I hope you also realise how inspiring this is. Not many people at our age would have the courage to do something like this publicly, especially knowing it changes your appearance so much. But that’s what makes it even more meaningful. You’re putting kindness and compassion above vanity, and that’s rare. At the end of the day, hair grows back — but the impact you’re making on people won’t disappear. Whether it’s raising money, awareness, support, or even just inspiring someone else to do something good, what you’re doing matters more than you probably realise. And honestly, I think you’re going to look amazing anyway because confidence and kindness make people shine more than anything else ever could. I really hope tomorrow goes well for you, and I hope you’re proud of yourself because you genuinely deserve to be.
