I'm rocking the chop on 20/08/2026
Many of the strong women in my family and social circle have suffered the effects of cancer. I’m rocking the chop to put a stop to cancer!
Did you know that 1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime?
In Australia, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women. The risk of a woman being diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime is 1 in 7. I’m taking part in Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project campaign to raise funds that will support Queenslanders impacted by cancer.
Throughout the year, I’ll be growing my hair as long as possible, alongside my peers, before chopping off my ponytail and rocking a brand new hairdo. Every ponytail chopped will make a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer #chopforchange.
All funds raised will go towards cancer research, prevention programs and support services.
