My Ponytail Project
I’m taking part in the Ponytail Project to support people affected by cancer and honour two very important people in my life. A few years ago, I lost my Grandy to lung cancer, which showed me just how devastating this disease is for families. More recently, my aunt faced breast cancer treatment and lost her hair during treatment. Even when active treatment finishes, the impact of cancer stays with a family. Donating my hair is my way of supporting people going through what my aunt went through, while raising funds in memory of my Grandy to help Cancer Council support everyone affected by cancer.
