I’m rocking the chop for everyone that’s impacted by cancer!
150K Australians are diagnosed with cancer every single year. Behind every number is a person, and a family that loves them.
My grandpa had cancer, and I lost him to it. It's not something that only affects the person who's sick, it impacts the whole family, the friends, everyone around them. The waiting rooms, the appointments, the hard conversations. Cancer touches so many more people than just those diagnosed, and that's exactly why I wanted to do something about it.
That's why I've signed up for Cancer Council's Ponytail Project — a campaign raising funds to support Queenslanders impacted by cancer. All year, I'll be growing my hair as long as I can, alongside people right across Queensland, united by the same goal. Every single chop makes a difference.
All funds raised go directly to cancer research, prevention programs, and support services — the things that matter most to people facing cancer right now. If you can spare anything at all, please donate. No amount is too small. Every single one means something to someone going through the hardest time of their life.
